Stewartville's Economic Development Authority (EDA) was established to attract, promote, and develop an economically sound future for the City.

The EDA continues to be a professional advocate for the business community; they provide ideas, information, financial packaging, and expertise in business development and retention. The EDA’s objective is to make Stewartville an even better place to live, work, and do business.

  • Southeast Minnesota Capital Fund

    This fund, administered by the Rochester Area Economic Development, Inc., may be able to provide a business with equity investments of ~$50,000. The fund investors evaluate proposals on a case-by-case basis and are looking for strong management teams and high growth potential. The fund is open to businesses looking at locating within Stewartville. Qualifying startups can contact the email below.

  • Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation

    SMIF provides some financing assistance to a variety of small business industry sectors.  SMIF loan programs and assistance can be viewed at the link below.
