Although we concentrate on the future, we haven’t forgotten our past. The Stewartville Area Historical Society has restored the birthplace (Dec. 7, 1863) of Richard Sears, founder of Sears Roebuck, and offers tours of the Sears home at 305 N. Main.
Part of our growth must be attributed to Stewartville schools, which strive for excellence in serving the students of Racine, High Forest, Pleasant Grove and Stewartville. We are also proud of our parks and trails, new 18-hole golf course and our varied recreation programs.
